Fruit acid from Gooseberry 
Apart from being a delicious Scandinavian summer treat, the gooseberry is a natural source of citric acid (which is an alpha hydroxy acid, or AHA). Alpha hydroxy acids, such as in citric acid help to increase skin cell turnover. An increase in skin cell turnover means that dull, dead skin cells at the surface are more quickly replaced by fresh, new skin cells, which results in radiant, healthy, glowing skin. 
 
Antioxidants from Sea Buckthorn 
Sea Buckthorn is high in Vitamin C, which provides antioxidant protection to the skin, helping to neutralise free radicals that can contribute to premature ageing. Sea Buckthorn’s antioxidant potential is further supplemented thanks to the presence of vitamin E, as well as flavonoids and carotenoids. 
 
Pure-Marine Active 
Pure-Marine Active is a marine exopolysaccharide produced by a planktonic microorganism that comes from a lush marine ecosystem. Pure-Marine Active helps to purify the skin, as well as supports the nourishment and maintenance of healthy skin by working to optimise cell renewal and helping to reactivate skin’s natural defences.

ProVitamin B5, also known as Panthenol, transforms into Vitamin B5 when applied to the skin. It is known for its soothing and replenishing properties, and functions to promote hydration by improving water-retention abilities in the skin, while also boosting the skin’s barrier function – for skin that feels plump, smoother and fresh.
