Knowing your skin’s natural undertone will assist you in choosing the shade that is perfect for your complexion. Check the veins on your wrists in natural light. If they are green/olive, you are warm-toned. If they are blue/purple, you are cool-toned. If your veins are blue/green, you have a neutral undertone. Now, use our handy shade guide find the shade that’s right for you!

DON'T… apply a huge amount of the product

When it comes to a flawless, natural-looking finish, always follow this key advice: Less is more! 1-2 pumps are enough to achieve full coverage. Apply the product directly to your face using a the Hybrid Foundation applicator, a foundation brush or clean fingertips. Begin application around the forehead, nose and cheeks and work outwards over the rest of the face. Smooth and blend for a beautiful, even finish.

DO… use clean make-up tools

From brushes to blenders, make-up tools are essential for perfect application. But did you know that your brushes and other tools can harbour germs and bacteria. If not properly cleansed, these nasties can be transferred to your skin and make-up... yuck! To clean your brushes, run the bristles under warm water with a little soap. Gently massage the tips until clean, and then dry with a soft towel. Use the Oriflame Make-up Brush Cleaner for best results. To clean blenders, fill a bowl with warm soapy water and soak the blender for 30 minutes. Pat dry with paper towel.

DON'T… stop at the jawline

A visible foundation line at your jawline creates the impression that your head is separate from your next. Unless you are wearing a high-collared sweater, you should always blend your foundation past your jawline. Your fingers are a great tool for blending liquid foundation. Blend until the product is absorbed and you have achieved a uniform look.
