What is a Konjac sponge?
Konjac is a starchy Asian root vegetable, which is also a source of dietary fibre (glucomannan). Konjac fibres are extremely porous – able to hold 100 times their weight in water. Konjac sponges are compact and hard when dry, but when soaked in water they expand and become super soft, making them perfect for effective facial cleansing. Konjac can be used with or without facial cleanser – the unique properties of the fibres mean Konjac sponges are also effective with water alone.
