Wellosophy NutriMeal Shake Vanilla Flavour is a meal replacement intended for weight control and management.* It is a nutrient dense meal in an easy-to-make shake, based on science and inspired by the Nordic Diet to support and maintain your weight management goals. It is high in protein, with dietary fibre, healthy fat and 24 essential vitamins and minerals. Sweetened with sucralose. 
 
High in protein – from soy bean and cow’s milk 
Soy bean protein is a sustainable plant-based protein that contains all the essential amino acids that the body needs (Messina, 2016). Milk protein is a high-quality biological value protein, which is easily digested and absorbed, containing all the essential amino acids in sufficient amounts (complete protein). 
 
One serving (25g) of NutriMeal powder mixed with 300ml of cow’s milk or 275ml soy beverage provides over 20g of naturally sourced protein.

One serving (25g) of NutriMeal Vanilla Flavour powder mixed with 300ml cow’s milk provides 2.7g of dietary fibre, and 4.7g when mixed with 275ml soy beverage.

High in 24 essential vitamins and minerals

Healthy fat – corn oil 
Corn oil is a healthy source of unsaturated fat high in linoleic acid – an omega-6 essential fatty acid - that helps to maintain normal blood cholesterol levels. The addition of linoleic acid to meal replacements helps to combat the loss of essential fatty acids from the fat tissue during weight loss (EFSA, 2021). 
 
Sweetener (sucralose) 
The NutriMeal is not sweetened with added sugars, instead the sweet taste comes from sucralose. Sucralose is a low or no calorie sweetener (LCNS), that originates from sugar (sucrose), but is approx. 600 times sweeter, so even a tiny amount will give a pleasant sweetness. 
 
Note, the glucose and corn syrups that are seen in the ingredients list are added in small amounts during the manufacturing of the corn fat and vitamin/mineral premix.
