1. Planet-loving Pet PCR Plastic
It’ll put a smile on your dial to know that Love Nature’s plastic bottles and caps are now created using 40% environmentally friendly PET PCR plastic materials! PET stands for polyethylene terephthalate (polyester for short!) and these days it’s one of the most common materials used to make plastic bottles and containers, mainly because it’s strong, lightweight and – above all – safe!
PCR (Post-consumer recycled plastic) is what makes Love Nature’s packaging even more special. We call it “pre-loved plastic” because it’s been sourced from already used and recycled PET materials. This is a huge plus for the planet because PCR plastic saves water and energy that would have ordinarily been used during production. More good news is, it reduces your carbon footprint and helps you minimise the size and environmental impact of those nasty landfills!
2. Organic Goodness
Some skin care brands say using natural extracts is enough, but we disagree! Going organic means taking an even bigger step, so you can enjoy products that are purer and safer. How? Because the plants and botanicals we use are guaranteed to be grown, harvested and processed without the use of chemicals. So your skin is less exposed to things it simply doesn’t need and, instead, soaks up more of the good stuff – just as nature had intended!
Another added benefit of organic is it’s much kinder to the environment. With fewer chemicals floating around, pollution is reduced so we are better able to preserve our precious ecosystems, water, soil and agricultural biodiversity. That’s a win-win!
3. Biodegradable Bliss
As the world’s water systems become more and more polluted, it’s time we teamed up to limit the damage! That’s why all Love Nature rinse-off products are thoughtfully formulated to be 100% biodegradable. This means they’re naturally broken down by bacteria and other living organisms, so now you can cleanse without a care because they won’t harm the environment when washed away after use.
4. Saving Our Oceans
It’s no secret that plastic in our oceans is a major global problem. Making a difference means focusing on every detail, no matter how small. And that’s why years ago, we took a stand and banned the use of tiny plastic microbeads in our scrub products. Instead, you’ll find only natural origin exfoliants in our products (like almond shells) which break down over time without damaging the precious ecosystems and marine life around them.
