This exfoliating solution contains 6% alpha hydroxy acids (lactic acid and glycolic acid), and works by chemically exfoliating the dead, dry skin cells away from the surface of the skin to effectively speed up the skin cellular renewal process – for smoother, radiant, healthier-looking skin. How to use
- Apply to clean, dry skin.
- Apply 1-2 drops evenly over the entire face and neck are after completing your normal cleansing routine. Avoid the delicate eye area. Apply only in the evening.
- Finish by applying your eye cream, serum, and moisturiser as normal.

Extra Usage Advice:
- Introduce AHA into your routine slowly, especially if you have very dry or sensitive skin. If indeed you do have very dry or sensitive skin, then a patch test is a must prior to beginning use of this product. If you suffer from a skin condition, avoid using acids before consulting with a skin expert.
- Be careful when using AHA, as too much layering of products can increase risk of adverse skin reactions such as excessive peeling, redness, or burning.
- Only apply AHA in the evening, as it can make your skin sensitive to the sunlight, and cause irritation. Applying it at night also provides ample time for the AHA to effectively deliver results.
- The AHA peel has a pH of 3.8-4.2, that is lower than the skin’s normal pH range. This is required to ensure that the actives (lactic acid and glycolic acid) have the right conditions to perform optimally and deliver their intended benefits to the skin. When using AHA, your skin will experience a small pH change, but skin is incredibly adaptive, and will return to its normal pH range within a couple of hours.

If you are not sure how your skin will react to the product for the first time, you can do a patch test to see how your skin is reacting to the product. This is done by applying a small amount of product onto a small area of clean skin on your inner forearm and keep the area dry for 24h. If any redness, burning, itching, blistering or irritation is observed at any time during the test, do not use the product.

Alpha hydroxy acids (AHA) are naturally occurring acids with exfoliating properties that help to boost the natural exfoliation process in the skin. AHA are used to treat a variety of skin concerns, including blemishes, photodamage, and uneven skin tone, and have even been shown to enhance the penetration power of other actives when used together in a skin care routine. They work by promoting shedding of the stratum corneum (the outer layer of the skin) and loosening the proteins between dead skin cells, thus effectively removing dry, dead skin cells at the surface of the skin and allowing for the generation of fresh, new skin cells. This process helps to restore radiance to the complexion, while minimising the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, enlarged pores, age spots, and blemishes.
